Form 80: personal particulars for character assessment

What does it ask?

• Every address for the last 10 years. Even a gap of a few months can prompt more questions.
• Every employer, self-employment and unemployment period for 10 years, including casual work.
• Criminal history, including charges awaiting legal action, in any country.

Common mistakes

• Gaps in address or work history
• Leaving out casual or short jobs
• Not disclosing overseas convictions, even old or minor ones
• Dates or names that differ from your passport or application
• Using an old version of the form
